Something along different lines from the hardworking crew at our European spyshot provider Carpix – no disguise-clad test mules to be found at all in this post. It looks like the lads had an enjoyable (and less time-consuming) run with this one – a sampling of the ladies of Frankfurt 2013 ends our coverage of the show in the usual fashion.
As usual, a veritable host of debuts and world premieres were on call at the IAA – novel design studies included the likes of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe Concept, Audi nanuk quattro concept, Jaguar C-X17, Lexus LF-NX and the Renault Initiale Paris, while vehicles like the BMW i8 and Porsche 918 Spyder were displayed in their production trim form.
The IAA may be done and dusted from a coverage point of view, but the show season for the year is far from over – Tokyo, Los Angeles and Guangzhou promises a blitz in a go the same week, and that madness takes place towards the end of November.
Closer to home, we’ll have coverage of the Indonesian International Motor Show later this month, and there’s also our very own Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show, also running in November, to keep things simmering. Until the next one, enjoy the final and most pleasant take from Frankfurt.
