Lexus GS F sighted on the ‘Ring without any camo

Lexus-GS-F-1

For some reason, Lexus found there to be no need for it to put any disguise on it’s coming Lexus GS-F save for debadging it, so what we could be looking at here is either a completely undisguised Lexus GS F, or just a GS F wearing a temporary GS F Sport body with some extra exterior trim tacked on, such as a front lip and side skirts.

The side air intakes on the bumper do look bigger than the GS F Sport’s though. It’s not the first time we saw this car. We definitely know it’s a GS F because of the vertically stacked quad exhausts at the rear, a design that made its debut on the high performance IS-F version of the last generation IS.

Still no idea of what’s going to be under the hood. The last pure ‘F’ Lexus had a 5.0 litre direct injected high compression normally aspirated V8 under its hood, producing 423 PS and 503Nm, mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Will Lexus go with a big V8 again, or could it go turbo V6 this time?

The GS is a segment larger so it may not share the same engine with a smaller Lexus F model, but it’s worth it to note that the RC F that we saw in a spy video earlier this year didn’t sound turbocharged, but sounded like it had some kind of growly V engine for sure.
