Dispatch updated for iOS 7 with background email retrieval

DNP Dispatch mail app gets overhauled for iOS 7, brings


Now that you've given your iPhone a breath of fresh air with iOS 7, why not try something besides the old standby email apps? Along with a new interface, the recently overhauled Dispatch now includes background mail-fetching, alias support and even a multi-field search function. For example, searching for that email about winning a trip to our Expand NY show would go something like this: Sender contains "Engadget" and subject contains "won trip to Expand." Four other features are explained in a post on the developer's blog, and with version 1.2, Dispatch is approaching the point where you could think about ditching your old mail app. The two-man dev team promises more updates are in the works, but can't commit to when we'll see them, of course.
